The only argument the smokers of marijuana come up with, time and time again, is: But what about booze and cigarettes?
Well they would probably be illegal if they had just been discovered but they're not, so live with it.
No, it's because the government finds fags and booze far too profitable with taxation to do anything about them.
You don't see stoners out raging on the streets, picking fights, causing drama. They are too stoned to bother, at most they might raid their kitchens for munchie material.

Journalist Nicky Taylor who was featured in Should I Smoke Dope? on BBC3, started smoking it for the programme to find out what the effects would be and what it was all about.
She had a journey that she'll never forget.
When she smoked her first joint she made the mistake of taking 27 drags instead of two.
She ended up off her face.
I heard about this, too. Well, is anyone else shocked that a non-smoker was "off her face" after nearly 30 drags?

He fails to mention that this women was injected with pure THC and had never smoked cannabis before, so the results were hardly surprising. This is a clear case of the BBC being commissioned to make a documentary, and told what the outcome was to be, before filming had even started. Sadly, since the BBC's Chairman, DG, and defence correspondent had to resign for the BBC truthfully reporting that this Government knew that Saddam Hussein didn't have have weapons of mass destruction and deliberately exaggerated the case for war, the BBC has learned to do as it is told.
No clearer demonstration of this fact was the BBC's appalling documentary they made to rubbish claims that the official version of the events of 9/11 are untrue. If you have not seen Adrian Connock's excellent documentary about how the BBC deliberately misrepresented and distorted facts to back up the US Governments version of 9/11 then I strongly recommend you watch it - you can see it on google video http://video.goog...iracy&sitesearch=

I actually do believe weed is dangerous. But for that matter i also think peanuts are just as dangerous. The point I'm trying to make is most people can eat peanuts without any problems but for a small amount of people peanuts don't agree with them and it causes them problems same with dope theres the odd person who doesn't agree with it but thats no reason to ban it. Should we ban cars because people crash. To prevent one case of marijuana induced psychosis around five thousand people would have to quit weed.
Of course weed has it's dangers like everything else in life but for most people its no more dangerous than a peanut.

It's also about moderation and quantity. Just as you will get problems in life if you drink a bottle of whiskey a day, you will probably not find it most productive to smoke half an ounce of super-strength weed every day, though I'm sure the whiskey ultimately would be more dangerous.
They don't like things like cannabis that can expand your mind, same with the non-toxic magic mushrooms they banned a few years ago, whereas alcohol, which depresses the thought process is permitted.

Typical, eh? At least the BBC is better than what people have choice of in the US, not that I'm making excuses for them, but it's so sad : /
I'll have to check thee husband's collection first to see if we have it already, I suspect we might do, but thanks I'll be in touch if not : )

Of course, they don't want us to think for ourselves, that would be an absolute disaster ; )
It is all about moderation. From time to time there should be some excess, though too. Like Bank Holidays : D
