now i know i have a couple of females i have reverted light cycle to 22/02. i want to take some cuttings i have mixed about 50/50 perlite and j arthur bowes seed and cutting compost the cuttings look alive but they don't have any roots i have dipped them in hormone rooting powder but i took them out of the soil carefully and no roots. im planning to take about five cuttings.

I found taking cuttings tricky sometimes - just cut horizontally and take more than you will need. Do it with a sharp knife so you don't crush the stem.
Do a bit of reading up yourself - there are a few techniques out there. And for sure, don't take them outa the ground once they are in there!
