at the moment i have one enviro blue spectrum im soon going to add another to spread the light across the growroom.

i am also going to get a 200w red spectrum and do a sea of green.

so first of all how many cuttings should i put under the 200w red spectrum.

secondly when i flower the mother plants i will do it under the two 125w and the 200w would the yield from that be similar to the the yield i would get under a 250w or 400w HPS i figured that altogether it's 450w. i was thinking of switching to a 250w HPS for flowering but then that would mean i'd have to put in an extractor which really isn't practical as i would have to run those big silver tubes through my bedroom and block off the rooms only window. unless just a house or pc fan would do it (im putting one of them in anyway).

btw all six plants are doing well ones entering veg one im preflowering and the rest are just coming to the end of seedling stage (i know im a dickhead i planted at seprate times because i could'nt find the seeds for a long while damn i hate putting things away shitfaced)

Haha good stuff man - you are talking like an expert now!

You need to read up on lumens - it's a measurement of light - after that its just maths to get the optimum per square foot. If you need help figuring it out let us know.

Since you haven't thought too much yet about ventilation & air circulation I will post about that and leave the light stuff as an exercise for the reader ....

Air flow has three purposes:

1) Remove heat generated by the lights
Obvious one - get a min/max thermometer to check how cold/hot it gets in your chamber. For this you want to pull the air from the chamber so you need an extractor fan.

2) Circulate the air
Think of it like a stagnant pool versus a flowing stream - you need the air under the leaves to refresh as it would in the wild.

3) Strengthen the plants
This is a biggie IMHO - The air shouldn't be focused in one direction, get one of those oscillating fans. The bending and flexing they do will help strengthen the stems and stop them falling over under their own weight.

im so bad at maths what are the lumens from 2 enviro blue 125w and one enviro red 200w compared to a 250w HPS and how many small plants could i fit in a sog set up and still get reasonable buds because obviously too many and theres not enough light to get anything good and too little i spose its not worth it for a couple of tiny buds
