i live in israel and iam very interested in the whole shaman thing...

i know little of the subject (hense the curiosity)

please tell me what you know of shamans and if you may direct me to any that live in israel...

even just explaining abit more about shaman's would be great, thank you out front...

shaman is a Siberian term meaning a folk healer who cures in a trance state sometimes the patient is also entranced normally a community event or ceremony a drum is often used occasionally psychotropic plants are used depending on culture basically shamans are the doctor/priests of all stone age people usualy being the experts in herbal and folk cures
