yes, i've had to resort to using a normal light bulb just to keep things warm for my tomato plant, i think the cold weather in nov. slowed down it's growth a lot as well (although not as severe as yours).

These NYCD are definatly less hardy than the black widow, or the snow white. I managed to kill another by putting it under the HID and forgetting that when the time turns off there is no heat from the light so it drops to room temprature (about 5degrees) so I started two more one seems to be fine and the other hasn't popped both the black widow and the snow white (who is already getting big and smelling quite fruity) Into the flowering room and those ladies love it.

The NYCD will remain in the propagator under 24/0 envirolite until they're strong enough for the HID.

Then once the plants are all big enough to take clones the timer will be turned to 12/12 and my favorite part begins
