Gordon Brown asks what planet is he on?
THE Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, has commissioned a report to ask what planet is this Government on, following reports that he also wants to upgrade cannabis to a Class B drug.
After telling his Advisory Council on Drugs to advise him to reverse the decision downgrade cannabis to a Class C drug, he also said, “The question also needs to be asked, what planet are we on?”
The Prime Minister has asked celebrity television stargazer Sir Patrick Moore to conduct an independent study as to what planet he is currently residing on?
While Sir Patrick’s recommendations are not yet known, it is widely believed that he is to tell the Prime Minister that we live on planet Earth. Ministers have already indicated they are prepared to overrule the expert monocled astronomer, if necessary, with Gordon Brown and Jacqui Smith determined to state that we in fact all live on Pluto.
“The sentiment from No 10 and the Home Office is very much that we live on the planet Pluto. It has to be as much about the message that is being sent out as much as anything else,” a Senior Whitehall figure said. “Much of this super strength cannabis that sends you irreversibly insane in one toke has been imported from Earth to us here on Pluto and we must have been smoking it ourselves to come up with such nonsense.”
The Conservatives criticised the Government’s assertion that we live on the planet Pluto, with Shadow Home Secretary, David Davis stating that “we do not live on Pluto, we in fact live on Mars.”
Meanwhile, millions of cannabis smokers in Britain who live on the planet Earth also wondered what planet this Government is on?
