It takes from 14 to 90 days for cannabis not to show up in a urine test if you are a regular user. For a single use of cannabis it will only last between 24 - 72 hours. It generally takes about 28 days and if you have to take a urine test for drugs it is very advisable to get some detoxification formulas, if you have taken cannabis within this time.
There are many different formulas that are legal out there which flush your system temporarily. Though some people say that they don't work, they do work! I strongly recommend http://www.qksrv....lick-725400-43057.
Please note that these products do not permanently clean out your system, so don't think that all you have to do is do this once and you're safe until you do cannabis again. These methods usually last a few hours and only temporarily hide the drugs in your system.

Joss sticks work fine for this purpose, as do air fresheners that you can buy in any supermarket. Leave your window open slightly and if possible try to smoke near the window.

By eating pot you will absorb more of the cannabinoids and THC into your system. When marijuana is smoked some of it is wasted when it burns. You tend to trip out more when eating pot and it's more intense. Also you can get bad munchies.
Smoking or eating pot will show up on drug tests, so if you are likely to be drug tested get some detox formulas. I used to live in London before I moved to Devon. It's a piece of piss to get hold of cannabis, just avoid the yuppie areas and look for alternative looking people. You can get hold of anything and it should cost about £20-25 for an eighth of skunk and £10-15 for an eighth of solid.
Your chances of getting caught are pretty slim as long as you are sensible.

The best book that I can recommend you is the The Great Book of Hemp, Rowan Robinson, published by Park Street Press Rochester, Vermont 1996. ISBN 0-89281-541-8. The Great Book of Hemp is your complete guide to the world's most extraordinary plant. I have a copy of this book and it is indeed the pot smokers' bible.

I notice some of the tips of my leaves are turning a yellowish colour. I believe 1) too close to the lights or 2) in need of some nutrients. What is your diagnosis? Also a very minimal amount of the leaves of my four ladies are an off colour green compared to the dark green indica look. I think I'm doing quite good for my first attempt but would appreciate some expert advice. Finally I have been surfing around the web for seeds and came across this guy in the states selling at excellent prices. Not sure if he is legit. Your leaves are turning a yellowish colour because you probably have them too close to the lights. If you are doing bio, use Canna Vega Floris as a food and if you are using hydro, then I suggest the Canna is very good to start for the first four week and then move on to Sensi Bloom for the next four weeks. Finally, give them another four weeks of water and no food.
Also to answer the final part of your question - it is not illegal to buy or sell seeds in the UK as long as they are classified as souvenirs or fishing bait, etc.,
